Build Muscle, Transform Your Life

Updated: Apr 16, 2024

The Power of building muscle In today's fast-paced world, it can be challenging to prioritize our strength training routine when we have to also take time for heart health and balancing life outside. We often find ourselves overwhelmed with work, family responsibilities, and other commitments, leaving little time and energy for strength building types of exercise outside of little time we set aside for cardio. My experience as a Health Coach has taught me that each individual is unique, with different goals, needs, and challenges. That's why I believe in the power of personalized coaching to help you achieve your exercise goals versus buying cookie cutter programs that "fitness" influencers tend to peddle through out the internet. Whether you're looking to build muscle, become more athletic or just maintain the muscle mass you have I can create a program that fits your lifestyle. One of the highlighted benefits of building muscle is that it can create longevity in our lives. Other key benefits are stronger bones, improved joint flexibility, metabolism/weight control, and even balance and coordination. Regular strength training even helps manage biomarkers especially our A1C. Studies have shown that it can decease by .66-1% with consistent resistance training (Church et al).

During our consultation, we will also go over your SMART goals, assess your current health status, and develop a customized plan that fits your lifestyle. This personalized approach ensures that you receive the support and guidance that is most relevant to you, increasing the likelihood of success! Another advantage of muscle building is that you are reducing risk of injury as the risk increases dramatically as we age. When you have a health coach by your side that has the knowledge of exercise science and health coaching, you're more likely to stay committed to your wellness journey. I as your health coaches will regularly check in with you, provide feedback and encouragement, and help you overcome any obstacles that may arise. This level of accountability can be a game-changer, keeping you motivated and on track towards achieving your goals!

Overall, highlighting its myriad benefits beyond muscle growth, I wanted to emphasize how strength training enhances overall health, boosts metabolism, and improve bone density. From increased function strength for daily tasks to reduce risk of injury, the advantages are extensive. By explore the science-backed reasons behind its importance, we have come to learn that strength training isn't just about physical appearance-- it's about fostering a resilient body and healthier life!
